Satellite tv: how does this actually work? Year: 10-08-2008 | author: James Croydon
Satellite TV is provided by the orbiting communications satellites located 37.000 km above the earth's surface. Satellite launch we must have a transmitter antenna Find in a uplink facility. Uplink satellite dishes to go to the satellite signals transmitted them to a large & diameter, say about 9-12 meters or 30-40 feet. This large diameter provides a clear signal & perfectly acceptable position on the satellite. Satellite signals retransmitted to the world through a different transponder frequency.
